One of the things that Rachel is most passionate about, is her ongoing dedication to serving HEROES! She has gone through the training and certification necessary to provide Military and First Responders with a rebate, which comes directly from her commission when a hero buys or sells their home with her. Through Windermere Real Estate's, "Military on the Move" program, Rachel has worked to make sure that our local heroes are taken care of not only with the special rebate she provides, but also through passionate volunteer work that benefits her clientele directly. Before getting into Real Estate, Rachel previously worked for CBS Broadcasting, where she put her Finance Degree to work in the Accounting Department for 6 local Sacramento radio stations. She has also worked in local city government as an Accountant, and ran a successful bookkeeping and tax firm before switching careers and becoming a trained Chef in 2013. Rachel has been the Private Chef of local sports celebrities, familiar news anchors, and over 400 local corporate and private catering clients in the Greater Sacramento area. Rachel has catered to the needs of businesses and individuals, in many capacities for over 20 years, and has received many industry awards , including " Citizen of the Year " in 2024 and 'Business of the Year', in 2025.
Rachel has served on the Board of Directors for the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce for 10 years, including serving as President in 2020 and a Director until 2026. She is also the former Honorary Mayor of Fair Oaks , where her fundraising efforts in 2016 produced nearly $10,000; half of which went to Bella Vista High School's 'Foods' program.
In addition to her ongoing service to the Fair Oaks Chamber of Commerce, she is also a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) , where she continues to sharpen her skills as a business owner, a community partner, and a REALTOR®.
In 2023, Rachel established her Networking Group, CONNECTIONS. This thriving group includes professionals from all different industries, and has won "Best Networking Group in Fair Oaks" each year of its existence. Rachel lives in Carmichael with her husband, Ryan. She has two wonderful grown children. Her daughter, Sarah works in the Accounting department of a local commercial and residential HVAC / Plumbing company. Her son, Morgan is also a Real Estate Agent. It must run in the family!.
